Part of a reference sheet I'm working on.
But they look bloody good so why not have them separate. There is a reason the Jackdaw is more washed out (Isn't an albino, well it coulda been, no idea) and the left is a male European Kestrel :) The Jackdaw was done yesterday.

They are fantastic! :O The detail and anatomy is spot on! They look so realistic and life like!

Nice bird studies, like the back of the Kestrel

You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find a good European shot, loads of the "amercian" one but ours? Took me ages.
I'll have to give them their own boxout on the sheet :) Thank you.

Oh wow, I wish I could draw birds like that.

they are a bit of a pain in the ass but all it needs is some good reference (To stop a falcon looking more eagle like for example) and a lot of paitence for when it goes awry :) Thanks.

Great birds! I think you did especially well capturing the lumpy look of bird wings on the jackdaw.

Thank you :) Makes a change my underneath sketch of getting it to look right actually comes in handy.

I like it. I have trouble with wing patterns, so yours are especially nice to look at. =)
